Looks like the powers that be have been persuaded to fund a team entry for the Nocturne
Gulp. Not raced before.
Anyone else gonna be there on a company pass?

What are you worried about anyway, you won't have any competition for the back of the pack? What do you mean you think 64cm is a big frame?0 -

True innit. Need to find a partner who has a bike problem to enter us and get marketing £ for corporate kit.
Edit: just realised, I'll be 200 miles in to my Jogle t'aint gonna fly. What do you mean you think 64cm is a big frame?0 -
I'd be up for joining as a slow ringer if anyone's team is a man short. Any public sector/NHS teams competing or is it all bank types?Ribble Audax - FCN 5
Dedacciai Pista - FCN 30 -
Not sure my charity would be up for the entrance fee  and don't fancy towing around 3 people for 10 laps.
Might be better off in the folder race!0 -
Our clients compete with IG so the email to persuade the boss was "We can beat IG!"
That seemed to do the job.0 -
Had to withdraw from it as on holiday - looks like fun though!0

It's a great race. Missus rode the Women's Elite crit last year so I had a pit pass and had a chat with Stannard and some of the other Sky boys who were warming up on turbos almost right next to her. Hope they manage to check all the grilles this time round - lots of punctures on one section due to one moving."Mummy Mummy, when will I grow up?"
"Don't be silly son, you're a bloke, you'll never grow up"0 -
Company team kit already designed
We are exactly the sort of company this event is aimed at. A little too much money, and delusions of talent. Still, free food and bar after so we'll make a dent in that entry fee.0 -

A maximum of two riders per team can be British Cycling category 2 or higher.
Good luck0 -

Were you with a work team? If so, I bet they weren't pleased you had to drop out!
No, it was just the regular amateurs race. Have a couple of things lined up with work though - doing the Ride for Diabetes Wattbike event at Royal Exchange on 17 May then the Hercules Challenge in September. Training whilst at work - result!0 -
Have registered for the women's race but not overly hopeful about getting in, reckon it could be a little oversubscribed... Good luck with the corporate race - looked brilliant fun last yearNice weather bike: Fondriest TF2 (white/ black)
Training Bike: Giant Avail (white/ blue/ green)
Track bikes: Planet X Franko Bianco (white) and 7VRN (white/ black)
CX: Kinesis Pro6 (sick green)0 -
Headed over to the Rapha Café for the prologue [Rollapaluza] this eve.

Topped the evening with 22.35s for the 500m. Think I've found my race distance, enough of this road nonsense0 -
Where would that put you on the cycle show leader board?0

That's a pretty good time Dhope! You should contest the Dulwich championships next year, you'd be in with a shot I reckon.0

Me too - up against the likes of Jo Rowsell, Dani King, Laura Trott and Elinor Barker. Gulp. Hopefully Milk Race experience will help a little...

I'll be there riding, should be good fun!
A quick 10 lap race and the chance to watch the pro's go at it as well, what more could you ask for from a Saturday evening.
Here's hoping the weather stays good!0
