Did a loop in the Forest of Bowland today; starting at Chipping, to Dunsop Bridge and back. There were some good bits of singletrack, heading towards Hareden is decent, and a nice section on the way back to Chipping. But the route took in possibly the most life threatening descent I've encountered, the Ouster Rake path down Whin fell.
The Dunsop Death ride! Sketchy is an understatement, big loose rocks, narrow track, deep ruts and drops and a sheer drop of a few hundred feet just inches from the track! Needless to say, I was extra careful! Has anyone else ridden it?
