Just wondered if other commuters (both in/out of London) have taken out any form of insurance, just in case you're involved in an accident???

If so, can I ask who you've gone taken this out with? I used to be a CTC member years ago (for this reason) but for some reason haven't renewed it. It's been on my mind recently to get it sorted but thought I'd ask around before I make any moves.

    I'm a BC member. Well worth the Ride membership (~£20 IIRC) for third party cover and legal support, it might already be included in your home insurance though so check that first.

    I'm also a British Cycling member. £25 for the year if you pay by direct debit. I took it out after being knocked off earlier this year just for the legal support and wish I had known about it earlier.
