Don't suppose any one else is going this sunday?
Looks like a splendid route including Cairn O' Mount and Glenshee.
It's my first 200k but I've managed 115 miles before so I think I should manage it although I doubt I'll be very fast

nope
at least you don't have to climb to tomintoul
cairn o'mount that way round will be a breaker, following the dee, the road to glenshee is a steady climb, spittal down that way should be fun, and I think there are still roadworks on the way back down (down to single lane and lights...)
and good luck0 -
Not doing the audax but was planning on driving out to Aboyne on Sat and doing pretty much the same route from there in order to get an idea about the south part of the snow roads audax at the end of the month.
Enjoy.

Thanks guys. I reckon I could only manage the road to tomintoul (I assume we're talking about the Lecht) on fresh legs, I hope to try it as a stand alone ride later this year.
The snow roads sounds good but I couldn't see a map (not that I'm up to 300k just yet - maybe in a year or two)
Does it go over the Lecht?
