Portsmouth car parking

I'm off to Brittany with Mrs P for a week, in June, cycling from St Malo to Port Manech (and back).

I think we may go by ferry from Portsmouth to St Malo as the so called fast ferry Condor Ferries from Poole needs to park in Jersey for hours so takes as long as the ferry.

The downside of this is we'll need to find somewhere to leave the car in or near Portsmouth for a week. Can anyone recommend somewhere?

On another note, I have just noticed Brittany Ferries now charge for bikes, such a con!
