How to remove Shimano FC-2303 Crankset?
Hi,
My bike is making some rubbish grinding noises from the vicinity of the bottom bracket so I want to take it off and have a gander. Thing is I can't figure out how to get the damned crankset off :-/ it looks like it has a bolt which is de/attachable with an Allen socket tool. But I can't seem to make the damned thing move full stop. Do I need a special tool to do this? Hoping someone can help as going bananas here.
Cheers
Rob

From memory of removing mine (I had the compact version). You need a :
14mm socket to undo the crank bolts
a crank puller to pull the cranks off the square taper spindle
the relevant adaptor to remove the BB (I *think* something like this http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/sp/road-t ... 2000000000 or http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/sp/road-t ... 0000000000 cant remember completely)0
