Airless tyres

I was looking on youtube at mtb stuff, and came across airless tires. I think there called energy release tires or something like that. If you haven't seen them yet, there's quite a few videos on youtube, i recommend you check it out, i thought it was wind up at first. Just go on youtube and type airless tires, you'll find it easy enough. (i'm on a ps3, so i can't provide a link, sorry)
You can see through them, lol. They're going to add a sidewall at some point to prevent mud build up though, or at least it's been suggested. They have something like carbon nano rods in them, wich can be loosened or tightened to suit the terrain.
They're apparently light, durable and completely puncture resistant and are meant to last a long time.
No idea if these things are available yet.
Has anyone tried them? I'd really like to hear what there like.
