Going to have a look at an MBK Leader road bike this afternoon, but can't find very much info. about this bike at all. :?

Could anyone help at all, were these any good? Buyer is asking for £190 which to me appears to be maybe £50 too much, but I really don't know.

I'm ideally looking for a bike I can commute around town, stick some mudguards on and maybe use as a winter training. Probably even a bike seat when out with the family!

Any help appreciated. :)

I don't know too much about bikes of an older vintage but IMO that is worth £150 let alone £190. I would sell you my other bike for less and it has STI shimano shifters and is probably got a loss less miles on it. (about 500!)

Downtube shifters, quill stem. Don't bother. There'll be much better around for a lot less. For £100 more than his asking price you can go to Decathlon and get a new BTwin Triban 3!! http://www.decathlon.co.uk/triban-3-red-road-bike-id_8274036.html
