kinesio tape - Any good?

So anyone use/used kinesio tape for an injury.. Does it work?

    Yes but you need to know what you are doing with it!! I.e fully qualified physio with the right follow up support...

    Yeah I'm another one for it. But as above, you need it to be applied by someone who knows what they're doing. Trying to do it yourself, particularly if you've never had it on before, is probably not much good. And it's also not the answer for all injuries.

    Have used its competitor Rock Tape & it does work.

    As per @NapoleonD you do need to know what your doing, but rocktape have their own Youbtube videos which make it much easier.

    Used it in 2011 to get me through a couple of races & general recovery.
    Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.
  • I think this is really injury dependent at best. There's a lot of the emperors new clothes to this stuff but if it felt like it worked for the guys in this thread then it may be of some help for some reason.

    Its only gonna harm your bank balance to try at worst but I wouldnt expect a miracle cure
