finally got my first half century today

finally got my first 50 miler in today.over the moon with myself seeing as there was a brutal wind at times as well.really feel i could have done a bit more only for it but onwards and upwards from here...next target is 100kms. :D:D

    well done mate! try and get a couple cycling buddies together and you'll soon be up to a 100km quite easily, nothing better than riding with some mates and don't forget the all important cake stop to refuel, before hopping back on the bike and heading for home...enjoy the ride!

    Its also strange to see only 1 Strava segment on a 50 mile ride!

    maybe cos i live out in the sticks and although there are quite a few cyclists about here maybe not so many of them are on strava....who knows.

    kinda weird tho as theres quite a few clubs about here you'd think someone would have made a few more segments.
