Most likely a 2013 if it was built that late in the year.

  • The bike is a 29er flat black with gloss black decals. Do they only use certain color schemes for certain years?

Looked on Speshs webby? If you had you would not need to ask the question.

The rockhopper comp was not even 29" in 2012

  • I looked but did not see it in the archives. Guy I bought it from said it was 2012. I thought this was a forum to ask questions. What's with the attitude? "Looked on Speshs webby? If you had you would not need to ask the question."

A photo would help. Though being honest if you could not find it in the archives, you either didn't really look, didn't look hard enough, or it isn't actually a spesh from the last 5 years at all.

well you are the only one that knows what you have in-front of you so the only worthwhile thing is to point you in the direction of Spechs webby.

now that as i am in a position to know that you are in the USA or at least your service provider uses the USA for your access.

    things change.

post up pictures and someone might be bothered to look through the US archive for you.

  • I did not mind being directed to check website. Thought the rude comment after was unnecessary as is your comment about know where my ISP is from.

Either way here's a picture. I had to resize it hope it shows. I do know it has 700x38c tires on it..he gave me 29 inch tires that came with it as well. It also has Easton handle bars.

  • I guess it could be that one if he changed out the red stuff on tires and seat.

But as that is a UK. Spec bike you see it will not be the same as yours. Presuming that you are as I have implied not UK based as most of the forum are.

Still waiting for confirmation as to your location.

In the UK, all 2013 rockhoppers are 29ers. The comp is flat black.
