Gonna swap just one part on my Specialized, how hard can it be?

Only snag is it's the frame and I've never done it before.

Gonna change this...

Wish me luck!

Job done! Well almost, the steerer was too long so I have nearly 40mm of spacers, I'll have to cut it down but that's not a job I want to do in a hurry.

I hope the weather's nice tomorrow.

Yep, Rockhopper was an XL (23") but the Stumpy is 18" which I think they call a Large.

Anyone got any tips on cutting down the fork? The star nut will have to go lower, can I safely hammer it down or should I replace it? Also what's the best way to cut it - hacksaw? Or how about plumber's pipe cutter, since I've got one of those. Cheers.

Pipe cutter if you have one.....just take it slowly!
