new bike or not

Currently riding a colnago dream hp with ultegra but want a new more modern ride. Should i change to a Scott cr1 as this seems to be the best bike for the cash. I don't have the cash to buy another colnago . Advice required should i or should i not

    If the old ones ok give it a treat and keep the money you don't have for something else.

    If you want a more modern bike then get one. But no one can really advise you if that is a good idea or not as you haven't explained why you want a more modern bike!

    The reason I am thinking about a change is to get a better more compliant ride and lighter bike. Will the Scott be smoother on rough roads but will it handle as well as the colnago. The colnago handles really well on tight fast corners, and there are lots of them in the areas where I ride. Thanks for your thoughts.
