Doesn't really matter what camera you use cos the lacquer throws up a lot of glare, but can just make it out, must be a very strong clear coat to hold that together

might just be a lay up mark.

If the laquer is intact, its unlikely to be a crack. There is some compromised fibres but this may have occurred during preforming or moulding. Can you feel an edge if you press your finger nail across the suspect area?

Looks like a stray strand of carbon that was laying across the mat when it was resinned.

The real carbon is underneath and is uni directional. The carbon you can see is just a cosmetic layer over the top and only adds a small amount of the strength. Uni directional carbon looks like the inside of sweatshirt material so doesn't look like what most people expect carbon to look like, hence the cosmetic layer.

If it were a crack/split, it would have split the lacquer coating.

Carbon things are made of laid up foils that look like fabric... it's just a fabric which has been folded there... nothing to worry about

Lay up is the way in which the sheets of carbon fibre (which is just like cloth) are laid over each other. Sometimes you can see the edge of one sheet or there may be a small crease or fold. If that is all it is, it's nothing to worry about. It's hard to tell from the picture though.

    You've only just built it!

    MTB - On-One Inbred

I have no idea what's going on here.
