I will be taking my Mrs to watch the Tour when it passes through the Dales next year.
Now cycling isn`t the best sport in the world for watching at the roadside - 5 minutes of action, if you`re lucky, and it's all over (where have I heard that before ) and "she who must be obeyed" will probably have a whinge about standing on some bleak moorland pass for a few hours for such little reward. You know how it is , lads!
Having been over to France, and seen the publicity caravan come through first, which at least livens the day up slightly - if only to see adults scrambling on the floor to pick up a free sample of washing up liquid or small cake - can someone tell me if the caravan was present the last time the tour came over in 2007, please?

Offer to take her to Betty's in Ilkley or Harrogate before or after. Betty's is very popular with the fairer sex in my experience.0
