Water bottle recommendations.

Can anyone recommend a water bottle that does not leak, is easy to squeeze/drink from and holds 600-700ml of liquid.
I have done some research, and camelback podium seems to be good - but water bottles aren't exactly something you can try out in the shop, and I would appreciate some advice. I don't mind paying a bit more if the item really works. Currently I use the ones that come free with whatever energy gel you buy.
Thanks.

These for summer - http://www.wiggle.co.uk/elite-scalatora ... er-bottle/
& for winter http://www.wiggle.co.uk/elite-jossanova ... er-bottle/
Both good & no leaksPain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.0 -
+1 for Camelbak Podium. Use them all the time, even off the bike. Wouldn't buy a different bottle now.0

In summer I like 2X550mls easy to carry & no big deal to stop and fill up if I'm out for 2+ hours.
In the winter when its a lot colder & I don't plan on stopping I prefer to carry the bigger 2X750mls as I'm on the winter bike and going slower I don't mind the extra weight and certainly prefer carrying them and just carrying on rather than stopping and refilling the smaller bottles and dealing with fingers & toes getting colder.Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.0 -

Both good & no leaks
I've got both - (well , the Campag record version of the Jossanova one).
Both are good - the standard elite bottles are top quality.
The benefit of the Jossanova are that you really can keep the top open and in the cage without it spilling - if you find closing standard bottles a faff. The down side is if you take it out of the cage with the top still twist-locked, it's even more awkward to open. Cleaning can be a faff too.0 -

+2. I can now store mine in my helmet hanging from the hook in the top of my locker with no worries of leakage.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0 -

I ave yet to find a bottle that leaks or I cannot drink out of. Cinelli bottles are decent but they are all decent mostly.http://www.thecycleclinic.co.uk -wheel building and other stuff.0

Thanks for the replies. Looks like I'm off to pick up a few the cameback podium bottles.0

Camelback Podiums for me too. Rapha use them for their branded bottles as they couldn't find a better bottle on the market.http://www.georgesfoundation.org

They do indeed, but charge a little moreI'm sorry you don't believe in miracles0 -
I just use the high5 750ml bottles
Got them for £1.60 each and were full of gels and tablets0 -
I prefer Camelbak Performance as you don't tip them up. Its a small thing but works for me.

Plenty of us have Wiggle rooms, it's where we keep all the bike stuff we buyI've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0 -
I had a Podium too, pretty good, but I left it at the top of the Cormet de Roselend climb in the Alps - it's probably still there if anyone wants it!
Since then I've been using the free High 5 bottles, and they work perfectly well.....0
