I think we should lead the space race and to start I have found a very good instructional video that will
start budding rocket scientists on their way with a rocket apprenticeship scheme. A jpourney of a thousand light years starts with a single step.

Don't be bored this weekend when its snowing again and you can't go out on yer bike

It will also help glazers and window fitters fight dwindling sales.

Makes sense - we are surrounded by water and I've heard it said people in Alsager have to have a lot of bottle to live there

Next stop the dark side of Crewe

    Vinegar and baking soda? Pah!

I made one for the kids years ago which we pumped up with a car footpump, it went up around 125feet. This type of thing....

.....made from two 2litre bottles joined together.

The older I get, the better I was.

I bet this seemed like a good idea before. Maybe he's on to something though

What were the chances of that going wrong?

    I prefer this one....

    BOTTLE ROCKETS.

I love em....err I mean the kids love em!

We have great fun making them in the summer months - kids usually knock some great painted wonders together with all manner of gubbins and paint. I on the other hand like to build a proper Dads rocket. This years model will be 8 litres in size and have a motorized parachute deployment mechanism. Sad, yes. Stil cool though.

I use the standard launcher made by this bloke: http://www.rocket-fun.com
You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.

I've booked my ticket with Virgin Galactic. I got some money off through Groupon, so I treated my mate and his kids to some tickets too

Fair play to you sir :) Im sure you will enjoy it.

On a serious note though, Lynx is far more affordable than Virgin and they start much sooner.

Its the blue stuff in that vid - its more common name is Viagra - helps the rocket get up and stay up
