Is there film I can get to cut to shape and size

I'll like to use to protect camera screen too

But looking for a cost effective ie cheap :)

    If you are trying to do what I think you are trying to do, it probably won't work very well.

    Screen protectors are to prevent scratches not chips. The risk on a bike is that a stone will hit the lens, not that you will scratch it. It will provide a tiny bit of protection, but not much.

    It you really want to protect the camera you need a housing for it and sadly, they are expensive.

  • IMO, screen protector film is absolutely vital for a Garmin 800/810. They make the screens out of really thin plastic, and I scratched mine on the very first ride. Since then, all of scratches have been to the screen protector film (although I did manage to punch a hole in the unprotected part in the lower margin when I put the 800 in the same pocket as a bunch of keys).

    I've found Zagg screen protectors are really good, but quite expensive. You get what you pay for I suppose.
