Where can I pick up spares and price?
Also for the pedal magnet I was told you can get ones which fit inside the crank arm pedal bit?
Also why is there two magnet/ sensors?

Check Wiggle for the Cateye spoke magnet - same one as Garmin.
eBay for a wee internal pedal/crank magnet.0 -
I put a neodymium magnet on my pedal axle last year and it hasn't moved, get one from ebay, they're v cheap.ARTHUR

Yep I have done the same and had to do it on my R5 as the clearance for the standard magnet with the GSC-10 wouldn't fit.
I put a very small dab of araldite to make sure it stays in place, but small enough so that it can be knocked off.
Here's the Fleabay Link0 -
I suppose you all have posh jobs... I just nick em from work off spare name badges that we all have to wear to be nice to fckn customers0

I don't know if others have suffered this but with a neothingy magnet for cadence, the speed sensor was fluctuating drastically, 21mph then zero a few seconds later. Since I superglued a neothingy magnet to the speed sensor this has stopped.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

So what does each sensor do ie te one from the pedal and the other from wheel spokeWanted: Cube Streamer/Agree GTC Compact / Pro/ Race : 53cm0

You don't need a speed sensor, the GPS will do that for you.0

This should have been expected!
Given that you need a chisel to get the neodymium magnets off (and honestly Velonutter - you don't need the araldite!) it's obvious that the magnetic field is a lot greater (after all, that's why you bought it in the first place). Therefore, if it is too near the speed sensor it will affect that as well. The solution isn't another magnet but simply to move the sensor unit further away, along the stay, from the crank magnet. The sensor can be much further away from the neodymium magnet than a normal magnet so you just move the sensor far enough away from the cadence magnet so that that is still within influence but the speed sensor is not.
I only use a cadence magnet so I positioned the sensor on the chainstay where it matched best with the graphicsFaster than a tent.......0 -

I got mine off of eBay, spoke magnet that glued on and one that fitted on crank arm where it meets the pedal, if I remember correctly both for under a fiver.
Works exactly the same as the garmin ones that were supplied but doesn't stand out so much.0 -

This is one of the best tips I've read on here. I was having trouble getting my garmin magnet completely secure so ordered a few of these for about £2. I just put one on and it's stuck fast, completely flush with my crank arm and pretty much unnoticeable. Thanks!0 -
I have two of each which are of no use to me as my peddles are titanium.
Anyone wants one send me a pm and ill get them posted Monday to you.Living MY dream.0 -

Araldite it on. It'll still come off if you need it to (and you might not if your pedals have flats on the spindles outboard of the cranks) - the point about neodymium magnets is not just that they stick magnetically to the spindle but that they look neater and are less fussy about sensor and magnet proximity; neither of those are affected by your spindlesFaster than a tent.......0 -

If you've still got them I'll take them thanks. Pm on its way0
