Holiday Cycle Toolkit

Hi All,
This summer I am going on holiday to the south of France for 10 days (also hoping to see some of the tour de France).
Anyway, I want to take a toolkit with me, I have an idea of what to take, however I thought I would ask on here since I may have forgotten something and/or somebody may offer some help based on their on experience of a particular situation they experienced on holiday.
Our bikes are both carbon fibre road bikes.
My own thoughts so far:
Cycle multitool (allen keys, spoke spanner, chain tool, screw driver, spanner)
Inner tubes
Puncture repair kit
Torque wrench
Pliers
Tape
Cable ties
Pump
Spare tyres (possibly)
Any other thoughts/advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
Tom

No matter what you take, you won't need what's in your kit - but you will need what you left at home...
From your list I wouldn't bother with the torque wrench - but then I'm not on carbon frames and I don't use a torque wrench anyway. I'd add in a decent allen key set (they're just easier to use than the multi tool) and I would include the spare tyres (folding).
Other than that - nothing really - I'd just ensure I'd given the bike(s) a full service before going...0 -
I knew some did a spanish tour and took some spare brake/gear cables - probably overkill for a 10 day hol. Some one a while mentioned taking a few disposable gloves as if you have to fix anything you mightnt be able to tidy yourself for up for evening soirees and vol au vents. The dissenter is every human being at those moments of his life when he resigns

good advice on bike shops.
If your riding involves any time in the mountains
spare tyre - yes
if intending to cycle most days and /or going anywhere near a mountain definitely a spare tyre. One extended emergency stop locking up the rear brake as you approach a bend that has turned into a hairpin will see you through to the inner tube on any tyre.
cable - gear and brake - yes
you will be using the brakes more than possibly the preceeding 3 months put together in one outing ?
Pump = track pump

All depends - if this is a cycling holiday - load up.
if this is a holiday with a bit of cycling maybe - load down.0 -
My advice would be to ride the bikes you are intending to take for a good few weeks before you take them, then don't bloody mess with them!
Your suggestions seem ok, but you shouldn't really encounter any issues as long as you have good working bikes before you go.0 -
Dont forget to take a speedlink for the chain just in caseCube Cross 2016
