Hope headset query.

Hi guys.
Just a quick question for anyone who has fitted a hope headset (1 1/8th).
I bought a second hand headset - it's in very good condition.
However I have a query. The bearings are not a tight fit in the cups. I thought they might of been pressed in or at least be a tight fit but they drop in very easily.
I notice that the seats within the cups are tapered, as are the bearings, so this might be absolutlety fine but I was hoping someone could just confirm this please?

They should go in without any effort. There angled on one side so when you load them up they will center and not move.0
