the chain stay cable stop came unstuck and fell off earlier, does anyone know where i could purchase one to glue on (carbon frame)
i've been googling for hours and not found anything suitable.
ribble sportive for the black stuff

Canyon Strive AL 8.0 for the brown and green stuff.

Can't you get a new frame under warranty? It's pretty useless without the cable stop.

cable stops can be under pretty high load, gluing probably won't be strong enough

was the original fixed with rivet(s) or laminated on?

if the frame is worth a bit, contact a cf repair company, there're a few

for diy, depends how the original was fitted, for instance, you could use something like...

...epoxy it to the stay then use a cf repair kit to create two 'straps' to completely secure it, not very elegant but i think it'd work

  • Hi! I have the exact same problem. Top tube cable stop snapped off after 3 years of use during a race yesterday.

Did the solution work? I'm inking of doing the same... Getting that part and then using a carbon DIY fit to put 2 straps over the part so it doesn't move. Any thoughts?

Is it brake or gear? I'd want a pretty good repair on a frame brake stop.
