I am due to travel to Jonkoping in Sweden next month.
I'm keen to get out cycling.
Does anyone know of any places to hire Road Bikes (not MTB) around Jonkoping. I'd be grateful of any information.
I know there are lots of routes but around the lake, but does anyone have any good routeson a loop to and from Jonkoping of about 60-80 miles.
Suggestions welcome

I used to live nearby in Linkoping, but cant advise you of any hire places.
It may be worth getting in touch with the organisers of Vatternrunden, if they don't know, nobody will.http://www.snookcycling.wordpress.com - Reports on Cingles du Mont Ventoux, Alpe D'Huez, Galibier, Izoard, Tourmalet, Paris-Roubaix Sportive & Tour of Flanders Sportive, Amstel Gold Xperience, Vosges, C2C, WOTR routes....0 -
I looked a bit when we lived in Stockholm and only found one place which had hired road bikes a few years before but then stopped. Their prices had been pretty high too (like most things in Sweden). I'd suggest looking at borrowing a bike bag from a friend (or even buying one) and taking your bike with you. The roads are lovely and empty in Sweden.0

Yeah I didn't mention price, I guess it would be cheaper to take your own bike!http://www.snookcycling.wordpress.com - Reports on Cingles du Mont Ventoux, Alpe D'Huez, Galibier, Izoard, Tourmalet, Paris-Roubaix Sportive & Tour of Flanders Sportive, Amstel Gold Xperience, Vosges, C2C, WOTR routes....0

TBH the only type of bikes for hire in Sweden are not the type you are looking for. If you have one take it with you."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
