Which do you consider the better purcahse?

Hi

I'm about to purchase my first mountain bike mainly for red route riding and occasional commuting. After months of research I have finally narrowed it down to these two and gone slightly over budget as both seem to offer really good value for money compared to the lower spec models but was wondering what the experts thought

Both seem OK, very similar.

I'd go for the Kraken - better fork, more adjustable.
