Easton EA90XC Hub Question -Part 2

I posted not so long back with regards to the Easton hub tensioner continually working it's way loose and giving me lateral play in the wheel. Seems that needs constant retightening,

Anyway - I look after the hubs, clean them (and tighten them).

Couple of more issues now though. I use spider cassettes and even still, the freehub body seems to get massively notched the the point that removal of the old cassette is near impossible without prizing individual rings off (to the point that it gets destroyed).

Now the freehub seems to slip under a lot of torque. Out of the saddle hill climbs being a good example. At first I thought it was the chain slipping on the cassette (although both are new, replaced together and the chain is well within the 0.75% wear tolerance) - but my friend following seemed to think it definitely was the freehub.

Anyone got experience with these? Am very disappointed considering the price of these wheels. They're less than a year old and I've predomininatly been on my other bike through the winter months.

It's the M220 hub (which is the one that Easton are NOT offering upgrades to)
