Inconsiderate riders

Firstly, I'm not a regular to the road forums but just felt the need to post this request.
I live at the top of a moderately large hill and most of the road cyclists are either considerate enough or fit enough to not have an outburst of profanity but it seems to be getting more and more regular that I'm in my garden with my young children and a cyclist or group of cyclists get to the top of the hill and stop right behind my garden for five minutes of non stop swearing.
Please be considerate when riding past peoples gardens, I don't want to be hearing foul mouthed outbursts and I certainly don't want my children to have to hear them.
There have been five such outbursts this morning. Do I really have to put up with this just because your unfit?
As I said most roadies are either fit enough or considerate enough but maybe on in ten just need to keep it under control.

What did the riders say when you spoke to them personally?

(Presumably you did this, rather than just posted here on the off-chance that the riders involved might see it).

Can't really say this is something I've witnessed. Do you live at the top of a 1 in 3 or something?

It's not a huge hill. I'm no roadie but I can ride up without too much effort on my cross country bike.
I have asked them to keep it down. Some get gobby and tell me to f**k off others just ride off without acknowledging me. I shouldn't have to ask people to stop, they can see that they are right next to gardens and should be considerate enough to keep the swearing down. It's something that my neighbours also complain about. It's the sort of situation that tends to end with tacks in the road, I'm not that stupid (I have been on the receiving end at 40+mph on a downhill track and ended up with cracked ribs) but some of my neighbours are.
It's mainly less fit riders and the majority of them seem to be in their late 30's - 50's. Most riders who come up the hill just click up a few gears and disappear up the road.

No excuse as far as I'm concerned. If any of them are in club kit then I suggest you contact their respective clubs.

I haven't noticed any club jerseys yet.

No excuse to this rule and something I don't like myself it's not hard to look around before you shout your crap. If it's a team then like Grill said contact the club and anyone else just tell them and if they tell you to F**k off get your hose out

Thing with the minority roadies is they feel they own the roads and some have mouths to big for them to back up and my aunty got spat by a roadie and he told her to get back in her car before he smacks her. He cut across the road by some lights and she beeped her horn and when they both stopped at the lights he booted her car door she gt out and he spat at her. A guy jumped out of his van who seen it and dragged the little s**t off his bike and forced him to say sorry and then took his details to give to my aunty. this cyclist and his friends was laughing up until that point when the man approached them.

These minority ruin it for us and make drivers less impatient with cyclists causing bad blood for no reason.

Sorry to hear about this hope you can limit it anyway.

It's this type of roadie that really piss me off. Please don't assume we're all like that - it's just a small percentage, but it's the ones that people remember the most.

    Grrrrrr......

EDIT - Yeah, great censoring :P

    Road - Dolan Preffisio
    MTB - On-One Inbred

I have no idea what's going on here.

A certain percentage of the general public are tw@ts. Ergo - a certain percentage of road cyclists are tw@ts.

    *i hope i'm not a percentile*

I have come across similar cross country mountain bikers and in one case worse downhill riders who actually threatened a land owner when asked to leave so that a planned and paid for shoot could take place in the woods. There are arseholes everywhere, these just happen to be roadies.
