If you want to break your bike or hurt yourself, go ahead.
If not, stick to fork travel at or around the amount the frame is designed for. Probably something like a Reba if you have the budget.
And I can't believe there is two people in whole world who ride a Garry Fisher Sugar and would start a thread with 'Yo.' In fact, I'm hoping there aren't two people who would do the latter alone.0
