Hi
I have just bought a Specialized Stumpjumper which is fitted with Reba RLT 90mm forks. would like to fit a remote lock out kit but need to make sure i get the right parts. Could someone please let me know which kit would be suitable?

No idea on parts, but IMHO a waste of time, money and energy. Easy enough to lean forward and turn it.
Just adds clutter to the bars.I don't do smileys.

I'd have paid to change my rebas back to a manual lockout, but they came with the poploc supplied. I don't miss it at all on either of my two bikes that its not on now, find it a lot better.0 -
Ok thanks guys. I'll leave it as it is then.0

A bit late to the party I know. I would like to further reinforce the point not to get a remote lockout. I bought a Reba with one and would love to change it to a normal one! Does anyone know how?Part time weight weenie0

If it has the Motion Control damper, then you can can use this link (http://www.thehubsa.co.za/forum/topic/4 ... xing-mcds/) as a starting point. After unscrewing the top cap clockwise (NOT anticlockwise) from the damper body, remove the coilspring, reassemble the damper and remove the poploc/cable from your handlebars. You'll need to buy the standard knob to replace the spool on top of the leg though. Alternatively, simply remove the poploc/cable and the damper's internal spring will keep the damper in the open position.0
