    Yep too early.

Wey hey Dan Martin! Got those allergies under control then, or the late spring is a help.

Garmin strongest two riders by miles.

Martin rode that well. JRod was spent.

Someone note that down. ThomThom has just praised an Ardennes Classic!
  • Maybe it was just the angle, but it seemed like JRod was very kind not to kick again and take it.

Tactically perfect from Garmin. Martin owes Hesjedal a beer. Vaughters owes Martin a big fat bonus.

Great finish. Enjoyed the last hour or so of that.

Glad to see Sky block the front of the bunch tactics didn't come off and plenty of riders willing to try an attack.

  • Ireland might have Pat McQuaid but we also have Dan Martin. Absolutely brilliant. An Irish winner of Liege-Bastogne-Liege. That sounds incredible!

Bloody good ride by Daniel - and by Ryder. Super smart tactics.

And thank god no Scarred Pony or Piti as winner
  • Was keeping up via this thread and CM ticker, sounded like a brilliant last hour.

    Chapeau Martin and Garmin!

Best race of the classics season. Was convinced J-Rod had won when he attacked, but always forget how deceptively hard the last km is.

Sky said they had five cards to play, which they did. But they were all sixes and sevens. #lbl

  • Was I the only person to pick Martin for PTP?

He also made me about £90!

Contador dropped right back then, wonder if he was just seeing how strong he was against the other riders for later on in the season or something?

Good to see him having a go, but to me it still doesn't seem like he has the acceleration that he had, errm, before.
