Ghost SE 2920?

Hi all!
I've just been to my local bike shop looking to buy a bike £500-700. I've been advised that the ghost 2920 is a great bike for the money but I can't find any reviews of it so I'm dubious. Can anyone shed any light on if this would be a good buy for trail riding?
Many thanks

It's the black one (obviously it's faster). http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=816980

It's bloody awful! Absolutely hideous fork that will ruin the ride as soon as it starts to move (has no damping, rattly lock out). 15kg is absurd too for a bike for this price.
What else do the shop stock?0 -
Haha! Erm.. Scott, Lapierre, Merida, Diamondback. Wondered why there was no review. Ok a better question should be... AHEM "which bike should I get for trail riding in the £5-700 price range? (maybe a tad over).0

Btw I'm in Doncaster so a Sheffield stockist isn't a problem if there's a bike that way on you'd recommend.0

Ok I've just realised I've asked the primary n00b "how long is a piece of string" question.
I initially wanted a cube ltd http://www.allterraincycles.co.uk/.Cube ... 125878.htm but was told that cube after sales was shocking by bike dealer who then convinced me about the ghost 2920 http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=81698 after not seeing any reviews and Supersonics reply I decided that it's not for me. I've had a fairly good gander on the forums and the cube seems to get good reviews on price for the spec?
The dealer also told me that climbing hills is easier on a 29"? Is this true or more smoke?
Many thanks.0 -
The dealer is talking bollocks. Don't go back.
