SPD's for my missus

Just gone and bought my missus a new MTB and she's adamant she want's to ride clipless because she's very keen on taking up MTB'ing as her new sport / hobby and also doesn't want to be slipping off the pedals when riding. With budget in mind I've been trying to find a pair of decent SPD's for her.
I have a spare set of M520's and cleats kicking around in the garage which I can put on her bike so the only thing she'd need is the shoes, UK size 5 normally so looking at 38/39 EU sizing...
She really likes the look of these http://www.evanscycles.com/products/shimano/mw62-spd-womens-shoe-ec047224. and TBH I think they are very smart. She's not so keen on the price, even though I've explained I paid much and such the same for my M056's many moons ago!
Does anybody have any ideas where we could get a pair of good priced SPD's from? I think her budget will maybe only stretch to around £50 max.
Cheers

There are these which are showing 'available' but not 'in stock' so you may be able to order: http://www.singletrackbikes.co.uk/m4b34 ... tAodP1MA0A
Also these: http://www.tweekscycles.com/Product.do? ... ke%20Shoes
If she's willing to go second hand, I picked up a par of diadoras for £15 just to try it out! Might be worth a look0 -
Also just found these. New and a bargain I reckon! She might not be keen on that type of standard shoe though: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Womens-Scott- ... 2a29fd2bcd0

I'm riding Specialized Tahoe's for the 3rd season in a row and I really can't fault them
They do a ladies version (below). Not quite as 'Pro Racer' as some of those other ones but I'd say probably more comfy
On the other hand, I don't have to put up with the British weather and they are anything but waterproof!

Here they are a bit cheaper and a nicer colour IMO: http://www.hargrovescycles.co.uk/produc ... XFWsqIgiZU

My wife has, as do I the Bontrager BG range. IIRC, she has the Riatas.
What I did when wifey moved over to spds, I fitted my old pedals, wound right off and fitted an old worn pair of plates to her shoes. Obviously this allowed her to get acustomed to the pedals with the strong bite from all new components.
Warn her she will have an spd off and when she does, just alugh it off with her.0 -
Thanks for all the advice! She took the plunge and bought the MW62's online from Tredz. Saved over £20 on CRC's price so should be here in time for the new bike arriving. Now time to invest in a gopro so I can record the £250 clipped in moments for you've been Framed! It's been a while...0
