Do you have an issue with Nasal Hair, and if so what do you use if anything to rectify it?

As I am getting older (33) I find that I am having more of an issue and want to get rid of it.

Should I Just use scissors or should I invest in something for this specific job.

Or do I just let it grow like grandpa did?

I'm in my late 30's and have been sprouting hair (except in the places I want it) for a good few years now. I would suggest getting something specific for the job.

Tried a male version of imac a few weeks ago, very scary but effective. My wife now describes me as a bald monkey.

    Mirror, tweezers, hankies.

Try not to yelp too loudly.

I wonder if they do a wax treatment for noses? I tried Rhinowax (it seemed logical) it didn't work, but I got great protection from mud and water

hair on my ears is of more concern as I don't have binocular vision and it makes it really hard trying to get rid of it.

What the hell is it with hairs appearing on your ears???

I go to bed with bald ears and wake up with a bloody comb over.

Long time ago, whilst killing time at university, one of the lads would sit and pull hairs out of his hooter for fun. His eyes would be streaming but he would keep digging.

A specialist electric trimming mechanism is really the only gentlemanly answer methinks

Both Philips and Remington make such devices.
Remington make one with a double 'blade' which is very effective IME.

Works for me, does the nose and ears.

I waxed my ears and nose once, never again :wince:
I used to just ride my bike to work but now I find myself going out looking for bigger and bigger hills.

    Don't be daft lad.

Nails of the second finger and thumb clamped tightly on the offending hair, brace yourself and give it a good yank.

Sorry I just burst out laughing!!

As for the topic I am 42 this year, been using a proper beard trimmer, more for the stubble look beard and it has a pop out bit which does sideburns, that bit works great for ears and nose hair removal. Mines a Remington, think they are £20-30 quid.

Nose and ears a problem here- I am 35 and they have been annoying for a good 3 years now. I have a trimmer but it makes nasty smells when in action so the nose ones get plucked with fingers (and watering eyes) and the ear ones get done when I shave. I hate it all, the grey hairs I can live with but this is another level of humiliation!

    37. Got a Remington one for nasal hair that makes a very irritating bee buzzing sound, tickles when you put it up your nose and makes absolutely no difference to the nasal hair forest! Disappointed with mine and looking for either a better nasal hair trimmer or a different approach: weed killer?

I've tried a couple of electric trimmers but for me a neat trim with the nail scissors works best.

there are a few types of trimmer: avoid those with the circular top, the blades are rubbish and don't tackle shorter hairs.

The better type look like a hedge trimmer (!) but obviously a great deal smaller :-)

I have a massive black thing protruding from my hooter at the moment, I'm scared to pull at it. I think it may be rooted to my skull.

Will get the EPO to have a hack at it with some scissors later.
