Hi there, I have just bought a Trek Paragon 29er and it is 3 x 10 - all well and good but I would quite like to go to 2 x 10. Do you know what I would need to do/buy specifically to do this and how much it would cost? Also do you know whether the Paragon comes set up tubeless ready or not - it has rocket rons on and how easy that is to do? Cheers Matthew

well the cranks depends on what is there now and what ratios you want.

and tubeless depends on the rims.

is it new or used and what year?

  • It is as stock on the drivetrain

    Drivetrain
    Shifters SRAM X.7, 10 speed
    Front Derailleur Shimano SLX
    Rear Derailleur SRAM X.9
    Crank Shimano M552, 44/32/22
    Cassette Shimano HG8110 12-36, 10 speed

In terms of the wheels it is

    Wheels
Wheels Bontrager FCC front hub, Shimano M525 rear hub; Bontrager Mustang Disc 29 32/28-hole rims
    Tires Rocket Rons

In terms of teeth size - I am not sure - something that doesnt limit me in terms of what I already have
