Anyone know of anything that costs more?

  • There will always be something more expensive, but I haven't come across it yet. It would be interesting to see what other people have found!

I pay them, NOT to have to wear that in public :-)

    See this thread!

    BTW - I wouldn't spend more than £80 on a jersey

    2016 - Cervelo R3
    2013 - R872
    2010 - Spesh Tarmac

Blimey that's expensive, I've seen some of the old British Cycling skinsuits and they were top quality to be fair.

This one is probably a bit more realistic

God knows what "Adistar" is other than an extra £100

Yeah, saw that one. Prefer jerseys with a long zip, is that worth the extra £100 or so? Err, no!

I must admit that I do really want one of these jerseys, I think they look great.

I don't think I'll get the expensive version though. What could possibly be the difference that justifies £100 extra? The press releases talk about this supposed "bolero" technology, but what does that mean in the real world? A different material? some sort of internal structure to the jersey (doesn't sound very comfortable). Honestly, if anyone knows I'd like to hear.

Isn't that what helped Torville and Dean to get gold?

The key innovation feature within the new adistar British Cycling range is the bolero: a one piece aerodynamic leading edge, just like the front of an aeroplane’s wing, designed to deliver maximum efficiency and speed for the rider.

Hmm. Still no idea! Although I am concerned I might take off on a windy day!

Jesus... that's a lot of money to splash... one clip of a wheel and rolling down the asphalt... bye-bye jersey!

Basically it's marketing speech for 'Ha ha you mug, we just conned you out of 200 of your sweet British pounds!'
