Hi all,

I used to BMX a lot when I was younger but those days have long gone. I'm looking to get one of these 2 bikes for trails/woodland/moorland riding.

The question is... Which one?

No contest - the 1.0 is better in just about every way. Much MUCH better fork, superior gear set, better brakes, wheels - everything!

GT Avalanche 1.0 2010... I have one, it's a great bike! Mine is now a fair bit different (new bar and stem, new wheels, better forks, and some new bits to cover the wear and tear of more than 1800 miles of mud over the last year and a bit).
