after a fair while of hassling the local council, local mp's and landowners , i'm pleased to let you know that we now have permission for a trail center in north devon.
good news for locals and holiday makers alike.
the trail center will be at keypitts farm just outside ilfracombe and hopefully will be opening sometime in the summer.
as for now if your local to the north devon area any help you could give would be great as some of the trails will have to be hand dug due to the terrain.
so if you can help then please get in touch, the 1st dig day will be on sat the 27th of april :D

Good work.... Found the planning permission stuff with a quick google search... How many acres have been allocated for this?

it'll only be a small center for the 1st year as the landowner is funding the project out of his own pocket and its a working farm, if it gets busy enough over the 1st year then we'll be expanding the site, hopefully with a bit of outside funding ,so the 1st 12 months will make or break the site.
we should have roughly a 10 k trail with various blue red and black choices .
so fingers crossed for the 1st year and remember to spread the word about us down in devon

Nice and close to me so it will save a lot of time driving to and from Exeter. I would of thought it would get a lot of use in the summer if all goes well.
