Hi,

I'm soon to be getting a Cannondale Supersix Tiagra and will be looking to change the wheels. I was wondering if anyone who knows how to use photoshop would be able to help out to see how different wheels would look.

Here is the bike

Here are the current wheel options

Cosmic elites not a great photo

shimano C50

Also a set with 50mm but no decals.
Thanks in advance for anyone who will take the time to help out.

This. And the Shimanos will clearly suit the bike better than the Cosmics.

At least try and post pics of wheels at the correct angle.

My LBS can get me the latest Shimanos for £600, I don't like the decals so was thinking i'd swap them with the old ones as per the photo or leave them just black. I'm looking at the mavics more due to reviews I have read. However the cost for the mavics is that much more.

Can you photoshop some tyres and inner tubes as well.

easiest way to do that kind of PSing is with layers.

Do the new Ksyrium Elites have the 18 spoke count on the front wheel as per pic above. A lot of the pictures on websites are differente like ribble.

Am i the only person here that thinks it would be better to go for the wheels that perform best and suit your riding best?

I do general riding, hilly, flat, short and long rides. I want a set of wheels that can do everything but I also like the look of the 50mm hence the original post. However I am also looking at the RS80 c24 and Ksyrium elites, due to performance and cost. I set a budget and I'm doing lots of research to find the best for me. If I decide I am happy with extra weight for the look of a deeper rim, even if I won't get much benefit from its aero qualities this is still best for me to suit my requirements. From the searches I have done on here there seems to be no best option when recommending any sort of product, only opinions to help the op make his/her decision. I think with anything in cycling performance and riding style aren't the only factors when choosing to buy something.

Most people would agree that Kysrium Elites are the best "value for money" factory wheelset on the market today. Cheaper wheels are compromised and more expensive wheels suffer from the law of diminishing returns (possibly until you start entering Carbon Tubular money)

If you ride average 20 odd mph plus on the flat then the 50mm rims might be worth it, if not then they re just extra weight to haul up hills and sails to catch side winds.
