Couple of BB installation questions

Couple of questions regarding BB installation.
I have a new Shimano SLX bb. It seems to have come with some form of grease already on the BB. Is it advantageous to use this over what I would use (finish line anti seize). If I used the grease that came with the BB I would assume I still need to add some grease lightly to the shell?
The torque I need to do the BB up is listed as ~50N. I take it this is pretty much as tight as I can get it pushing down with my weight? (I am not exactly the strongest of people around).

It is actually a thread lock.
Leave it on and if you wish a bi of anti seize will not harm.
You have had the BB shell faced at some time?
And yes tight."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

EDIT:
It actually looks as though it could have been. IDK. I should probably go and ask him :P0
