Fantastic BBC Reporting

Read this earlier today & felt that it was OK as a report. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-wiltshire-22158829
However on today's main national news they opened the story that "double yellows painted but not wide enough for a car" then went straight into a video report of someone trying to drive a car down an another alleyway that also has the double yellows painted on them, then trying to show that a car can not get into the one in the report is it was smaller.
I'm normally a believer that BBC news is 'pretty' well balanced in comparison with many of the the other news channels but my first thought was OK but I could get my motorbike down both alleyways & the double yellows I assume apply to all road users not just car drivers.
My post is not a rant but more an observation of how car centric the population appear to be & me being a bit naive to this fact. Just surprised that the BBC being such a large organisation made this a main national news story and basically suggested that as a car could not get down it then its a stupid thing to do, rather than its a bit amusing that no cars can get down but motorbikes could easily.

Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.

Just a filler article by a local news team with a bit of time on their hands. Its also fairly light hearted so is the sort of thing that tends to get shared and picked up when there is something alot more serious in the news.Life isnt like a box of chocolates, its like a bag of pic n mix.0

The TV reporting was on the national news section and headlined by Sophie Rayworth not the local news part.
I know I get the 'slow news day' story part & bearing in mind the other 2 massive news items think they have their hands full today.Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.0
