If that advert represents the extent of it then it isn't worth bothering in my opinion. Last year I picked up the soft shell jacket for £15 and it has done me well. Not the sleekest fit but good for damp condition. disappointed as have been waiting for this to come around again.

That's just the "coming soon" preview page. When it gets closer they'll have full listings up. I doubt they'd make a special fuss about selling a coat, shorts and pump.

Personally I have been pretty underwhelmed by the whole LIDL/ALDI sale bonanza.

The clothing sizes look like they were designed around a template of their plastic bags rather than an athletes body. I'd suggest save a little extra and go for a decent brand, DHB, Endura.

The equipment like lights, pump may be ok but not really fond of their clothing.

I have been meaning to get a device that tells me how much CO2 I have saved compared to a car, so that computer looks ideal.

Agree with the sizing on thing, seems very odd but the quality is ok for the price. I picked up some base layers and a gilet from the last lidle offer, i've not decided the L base layers are a little on the small side and the gilet after swapping the L for an M and then finally for a small i's not a bad fit. Did buy a jersey and leggings but never ending up wearing them due the odd sizing.

Got one of their ultra light jackets and these are pretty good but maybe thats because i picked it up in the sale for about £2.99.

    Don't do it, it's terrible.

On a completely unrelated note, I have a footpump for sale just like that one if you're interested?

I have two (happy to do a buy one get one free ;-)) never been used.
They came with water rockets I bought but I just use my spare track pump.
Even a quality foot pump would be painful, but a cheap one is hell lol

+1 to this, not sure if your comment was a clever marketing trick to sell your pump but i can confirm the pumps are awful! you'd be better off trying to inflate a tyre just blowing into it!

You can get better stuff just as cheap with a bit of shopping around- Planet X were knocking out Vermarc jerseys at £4.99. loads of other super cheap stuff (may only be odd sizes now) - http://www.planet-x-bikes.co.uk/c/q/clothing/vermarc

I got 2 baselayers, a jersey, and some arm warmers for under £25.

damn how did I miss this? wouldnt have minded some of those base layers, are they very tight fitting, I usually take M, you think I could fit into a S?

I am a UK medium (5ft7, 40"ish chest) and ordered large and it is a good close fit - its all Italian sizes so at least one size up. My guess is small would be absolutely tiny!

Worth having this thread bookmarked for bargain hunting - viewtopic.php?f=40012&t=12670609&start=3180
