Hello,

Has anyone got any good recommendations for elbow and knee pads for trail riding. Also for the sizing as I would like to buy online as cheaper but not sure on how to gauge the sizes.

Many Thanks.

there are a few decent ones. I use fox launch pro, the smaller size. good fit, don't weigh much and good protection.

elbow pads i don't bother with. its not often i fall on my elbows.

Quite like Fox Launch Pros I'm on my second pair. The floating hardshell works well and they're comfortable enough to wear all day. Elbow pads? Well I have a ls 661 Subgear jersey which is pretty good at shrugging off trail rash and also some 661 Rhythm elbow pads that can be packed away or used as required. Ideal for gnar-mince rides.

None of these offer much protection from direct hits but they help to prevent cuts/bruises/scrapes. Most importantly they're lightweight and comfortable and so I feel more inclined to wear them.
