Went to clean my kona caldera & found the top tube has cracked away from the seat tube just in the front of the weld!!! I've been offered a Cove Hummer xc from a buddy for £100, what do you think? I can transfer the majority if parts from my kona may need a new seatpost & front mech though.
Just wanted to get other opinions on the frame.

well a quick google and:
you will find out the size of the headsets for both bikes
the difference between QR and other wheel fitments
the size of the BB shell for both models of bike
and the seat post diameter for both bikes
as mentioned all this info is on google somewhere you just have to find it

You sure it's a Hummer? A Hummer is a £1500 Ti frame. Handjob maybe? Still worth it for £100.0

Yep it's a hummer xc, he bought it a couple of years ago to do a 'bling' build but then he got into road biking more & has stayed with his old cube for mtb. I've done a few favours for him over the years which is why I'm getting it dirt cheap!!! I was shocked too & search t'net to see if there were any alloy ones made!!! Lol. Can't wait together it & build it up ready for my first trip to swindley forest on sunday!!!! Although I will miss Katy Kona(sob sob). Although I was thinking of re-selling the cove & buying something steel.
