Has anyone tried buying a Mavic Aksium wheelset without tyres? Just wondering whether its worth trying to negotiate and get the price down for a sale without the tyres

If not having tyers proves to be a sticking point in the negotiations then try telling them that the wheels have a few spokes missing. See if that helps to get the price down....................................................................................................

Or simply sell the tyres on. I've got the Griplink / Powerlink tyres on my bike now - and am actually pretty impressed with them. Its either those or Ugo's wheels that make a lovely noise too - always an important consideration of course.0

Decathlon seem to be selling the Aksium Race, not Aksium S. Is there much difference?0

I have some 2012 ones, as new and completely unused. I'm going to stick them in the classifieds once I get some pics sorted. Shimano, black. £110 posted, £125 if you want the Mavic Aksion tyres too. (I've got the WTS version).
