Giant Defy Advanced 2 (2012) by SlinkyJ1, on Flickr

My new stead, as yet un-ridden. Just got the seat sorted out and fitted my hand built wheels.

Suspect I may need to remove some spacers, and looking at the pic rotate the bars down a bit, but need to get some miles in first.

Just need work and the weather to let me

Thanks guys. Wheels were birthday pressie from the wife last year, built by Ugo (Paolo) on here. The Giant ones seem pretty good but you can't beet a bit of bling, they ride nicely too.

Do need to sort the bars out though the more I look at it!

    Nice looking bike.
Can you tell us a bit more about the wheels, thanks.

Wheels are nothing to special. Mercury Halo rims with Bitex hubs, Paolo weighed them at 1630gm without skewers.

Are a bugger to keep clean though!

Yes I am defiantly a short a*se, it makes my 50cm Bianchi look almost normal size

On the wheels front Paolo was a pleasure to deal with and would recomend contacting him if you are looking at wheels.
