I'm going to sell my trek superfly and am refitting the avid elixir 3 that it came with which I had replaced with shimano SLXs. A couple of the conical washers required to fit the Avids have gone missing somewhere between my shed and kitchen. Is this http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=21475 the best replacement option or does anywhere sell the washers alone?

Not exactly expensive, avid v brakes use the same of you have any of them
  • You're right, it's not going to break the bank. Just being a skinflint!

Just get some cheap V-brake pads with washers....Wilkinsons sell a set for £2.99, have used them on Juicy's with no issues!

As he's selling it, and he'll still have the pads...... save the 80p!

  • Thanks for the advice chaps, nipped into the LBS where they had a box full of such items and gave me them for free.
