Quick Turbo Trainer Question

My wife would like me to put her bike on the turbo so she can have a shot when the kids have gone to bed. Her bike is a mountain bike - so I would like to get a slick tyre for the back wheel. The size is 26 47/52. Can anyone explain that to me. 26 is presumably 26 inch diameter. What is the 47/52?

Hi - to use a turbo you need a turbo specific tyre. You will shred that tyre in a few sessions. I use this on my tacx flow turbo trainer - http://www.wiggle.co.uk/schwalbe-inside ... b-folding/

It's a hard compound not for use outside !

Same tyre but a tad cheaper on CRC.

Bare in mind its a 1.35 so you may need a new rim which is skinny enough to take it
