New wheelset required - ideas needed.

I'm looking to get a new wheelset for my Turner 5 spot for red run trail riding (North of England / Scottish borders). It needs to be 26" and with a standard QR axle (front and rear).
I've got a reasonable budget (~£500), so wanted to see what would be recommended. I've used Hope pro 2 wheels in the past and more exotic Spinergy wheels too, so don't necessarily mind custom or factory-built wheels, but it will need to be strong enough to handle the usual technical descents / small jumps. I use 185mm discs f+r with a 2.25" front tyre and a 2.1" rear, so nothing that unusual set-up wise.
All suggestions welcome!

There's a deal on the Trizoid rear right now which could get you this lot with some lightweight spokes for about £350 for the pair. Great wheelset - mine took a hammering last season and no problems whatsover"Why have that extra tooth if you're not using it?" - Brian Lopes
