Hi - I am a regular visitor to the BikeRadar Road Bike section having purchased my first road bike in 25 years last Sept and have since done 700+ miles with a few friends.
My wife is now feeling a little left out and has a fairly basic hybrid bike and has therefore suggested that I buy a (not too expensive) mountain bike so we can go out on a few tracks together and maybe take them on holiday.
Since my Road bike is a Specialized I have looked on the Tredz site and found the Specialized Hardrock Disc 26 Mountain Bike 2013 - Hardtail MTB which looks good and is reasonable price especially with the 0% finance they offer. If anyone who has one of the above would be able to let me know if this is a good bike I would much appreciate it?
Also my road bike is a 56 frame however the sizes on the tredz site are 13, 15.5, 17.5, 19 and 21??? I am 5'11 - could anyone let me know roughly what size I should be looking at please? Many thanks - JC

As for size, you need to sit on one. But I would guess somewhere between 17.5 and 19.I don't do smileys.

Like cd says you need to sit on a few to find your size.
I'm a similar height to you OP and ride a 56 road frame. depending on what feels good you should be around 17.5-19 but its all down to personal preference at the end of the day.0
