I posted a topic a few months ago about an upgrade on a fork!
My bike is a spec hard rock sport 2010 with a bad suntour fork, it is a qr axle with 1/8???
I was suggested a rockshox recon silver or a marcozzi marathons r.
I have seen at chain reaction cycles a rockshox reba rl solo air for £280, will this fork fit my bike?

Just bought it, can't wait to get it on my bike, just got to get the lbs to fit it then away we go, been 3 years in the making!0

So got my forks had them fitted and wow love them, so sensitive and makes the bike feel responsive and lighter.
So now i am hooked on improving my bike, the next set of components to help the overall feel of the bike would be wheels, mine are heavy. What sort of wheels and how much for a decent set, looking at trail and xc use? Not thinking stupid money. Also looking at gears and brakes....0 -
Ive recently just upgraded mine with the same components. This is what i went for
Rockshox golds 15mm QR- £180http://www.merlincycles.com/bike-shop/frame-forks/forks-shocks/rockshox-suspension-forks/rockshox-recon-gold-tk-forks-2012.html
Superstar evo's with stans flow- £200 http://superstar.tibolts.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=40&products_id=496
SLX rear derailleur- £40 http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=28033
Also got
New sram chain £18.99
New sram cassette £19.00
New rear gear cable £15.00
New ritchley foam grips £9.99
New front & rear hope pads £24.00
New brake adapter £12.00
New shock pump £12.75
Second hand Easton monky carbon high rise handle bars £11.50
All in all £550  I knew i shouldnt of totaled it up. As you can see it gets addictive.
The wheels are a good price at the moment so would recommend them, You would be better off with crest rims probably as there 250g lighter than the flows.
Brakes i would say deore's, There about £40 at crc.
Gears, The slx like ive bought i think are good and not much different to the xt.
All depends on budget.0
