Rear wheel Play
Is any play acceptable in the rear wheel.
When the cones are tight there is no play but the bearings are too tight and the wheel does not run freely, let a little off and runs free but a small amount of play is present. What's the issue?
Any advice?

Should be a little play with the wheel out of the bike which disappears when in the frame and the QR tightened. Patience and tiny adjustments required to get it spot on. If you can't manage this then there's something else amiss.0

mmm thought as much....I'll have another go, I've got a little more squeeze in the QR as well.
